Though my husband and I have since moved north to Lehi, we made our first home in Provo.  So I know all the best locations! With local parks, a castle nestled in the mountains, a unique downtown district, and the nearby canyon, Provo is perfect for almost any look you are searching for. Castle Amphitheatre – Utah State Hospital

The “Provo Castle” is a favorite place of mine to shoot. But many of my Provo Clients don’t even know it is there! On the grounds of the Utah State Hospital on the mountainside, the Castle Amphiteatre has an amazing brick architecture that has the feel of a medieval castle. The Hospital charges just $20 to shoot here, and it is well worth it!

Downtown – Provo City Center Temple and Surroundings

When the Provo City Center temple was completed, downtown Provo was completely revitalized. NuSkin took an entire city block to build their new corporate headquarters. You can’t shoot on NuSkin’s property, but the building provides a great backdrop from the street to create some great imagery. In addition, the LDS church chose to renovate the old Tabernacle into a Temple after a fire damaged the building. The new Provo City Center Temple is a focal point of downtown. Many LDS couples marry there. As such, we’re so lucky that there are many beautiful options to shoot near the new temple!
